Umeå University Library Campus Örnsköldsvik
The University Library is located on the lower floor in Arkenbiblioteket. The library offers service to students, teachers and researchers. It is open to the public and everybody is free to use its resources.
The Collections and the Library Catalogue
The collections can only be searched via the library catalogue used in Örnsköldsvik. Due to the location of the University Library the collections of Arkenbiblioteket are also directly available. Most of the books in the University Library may be borrowed for 2 or 4 weeks. Journals and some literature that is used for reference can not be borrowed. Opening Hours
During summer the opening hours are limited and the library is closed for a period of time. When the library is closed university students in Örnsköldsvik still have access to the computer-room, the group rooms and the copying room between 06.30 am and midnight. To gain access the students need an access card. They may obtain these cards via the Umeå University reception in Örnsköldsvik. Opening hours
